Born in New Zealand, Amanda is a Yoga Instructor with a passion for life and living each moment in a mindful, aware state.
She constantly seeks to encompass this way of living, on and off her yoga mat. She is a firm believer that your Yoga will influence your time outside of your practice and inspire how you approach your everyday life.
She is always looking to learn more, expand her knowledge and further educate herself, to deepen her practice and maximise her offerings as an instructor. She feels it is her destiny to share this path and these teachings with you.

Greg was never sporty or outgoing growing up but once he found exercise, he now would not live without it! HIIT training showed Greg that he could demand more from his body and mind than he ever thought possible.

As well as a freelance contemporary dancer, Maria has toured both locally and internationally in various performances and worked with some of New Zealand’s leading contemporary dance companies. Maria completed her yoga teacher training with Byron Bay Yoga in 2010, and has been continuing her education and own personal practice in the path of yoga ever since.
Maria is a passionate advocate of yoga and dance for every body regardless of experience or ability. In Maria’s classes you can expect a combination of a flowing style movement to lengthen and tone, as well as a more restorative approach with a focus on breath work to calm and focus the mind. She looks forward to seeing you on the mat and in the studio!

Nanci has been involved in the Group Fitness industry as an instructor, manager and co-ordinator for some of NZ’s biggest gym brands and training programmes since 2000. In recent years this experience has been further enhanced as a group outdoor personal trainer.
Don’t be fooled by this mother of three, as she is not one to pussy foot around, she is one tough kick-ass trainer renowned for her intense and inspirational workouts, delivered with a fun and funky flavour, complementing her Pasifika heritage.

Millie first put on her ballet slippers at the age of three. Since then, she has expanded her exercise regime to include yoga and Pilates, which creates the perfect trifecta for Barre! Millie was trained by our very own Barre extraordinaire Katie, to join District as a Barre Instructor.
She has a passion for wellbeing: using exercise, nourishing food and diaphragmatic breathing to reduce stress and live a happier life. Her energy and positive outlook coupled with extensive time spent on the mat understanding how each exercise impacts the body will leave you feeling happily exhausted, light and carefree!
