Tell us a bit about your background?
Originally a Naki girl I have spent the last 7 years abroad between NYC, Sydney and most recently Vancouver. I received my certification in Group Fitness and Personal Training from Australian Institute of Personal Trainers in 2016 and have since gone on to study Barre, Pre/ Post natal and Nutrition at Precision Nutrition. Spending the last few years working on my own health as well as the health of my clients has seen me teach Barre, Outdoor Bootcamps, HIIT classes and more. With plenty of experience in group fitness I can't wait to see what we can accomplish at District Fitness.
What do you like most about working in health and fitness?
I love helping clients build a healthy lifestyle. In particular, seeing how their overall health improves with a good nutrition plan, fitness schedule and plenty of shut eye!
What's a special talent you have?
Having tap danced since I was 4 years old I can do a mean triple wing ;)
What's your favourite exercise move?
Donkey kick into fire hydrants - all about toning and lifting the booty! Unsure what this is? ask me next time you’re in one of my classes.
What do you do to ensure you take a mindful break from your day?
A walk or run on the beach first thing in the morning to help me focus and feel energised for the day.
What do you love about being a new member of the District team?
I love this new exciting opportunity in the heart of Auckland city. I'm looking forward to getting to know all the members and working alongside the best staff in a fantastic environment. If you see me around don't be afraid to say hi!
