At District Fitness you will experience amazing instructors, complimentary workout and shower towel service, cycle shoes and limited spaces in each class for individualised support and correct technique. Flexible membership plans allow you to plan your workouts around your routine. Whether you are feeling like a high intensity workout, a cardio workout or mindful movement the choice is yours.  You own the flexibility of your fitness programme.  If you become an avid regular, and we know you will, you can join on a weekly rate and attend as many classes as you like each week for the most affordable price.

District Memberships

The flexibility is all yours.  Buy one class, a package of classes or join on a weekly membership.  Classes can be used for any studio.  Once you have purchased your class credits you simply book a class on our website or app at the day and time that suit you.  If you need to cancel your class up to 4 hours in advance you will not be charged for that class and can rebook that class credit.

Class schedules are available for booking 7 days in advance, so on a Monday you can book up until Sunday. Tuesday up until Monday and so on. Class reservations can be made online or by calling us.

wait listing

Sorry! Your preferred class is full and now you’re on the waitlist. However not all is lost, the waitlist works! As spaces in a class opens up, we give them away to Members on the waitlist in the order that they put themselves on. You do have to buy a class before you can put yourself on the waitlist, but if you don't get a spot, the booking will be returned to your account to be used at a future date.

Up until the day of the class we will automatically add you to the classes you are waitlisted for. You will also receive an email or a message confirmation stating you have received a spot in the class. If a spot opens up on the day of the class, we will call or message waitlisted members, but will not enrol them unless we get confirmation from them directly.

Please note, we assume you want to take EVERY class you are waitlisted for. If you do not remove yourself from the waitlist (online or by calling the studios) by 5:00 PM the evening before the class, you may get added to the class after it is too late to cancel. If you cannot get into your preferred class, why not try one of our other classes.


Something come up and can’t make your class? Sorry to hear that! Just make sure you cancel 4 hours before the class starts. Once your space is cancelled, the space will become available for another wait listed member and the class will be returned to your account to be used later. Please note if you don’t cancel your space at least 4 hours before the class, your class will be charged to your account. Members can cancel their classes online or by calling the studio.


Your First Class


Prepping for your first class

HYDRATED The key to a healthy body is staying hydrated. So be sure to have water before, during, and after your class. Your instructor will prompt you and give you the opportunity to have a drink during your class. Fill up in studio from our filtered water station.

ENERGY Be sure to eat a little something before you exercise. We recommend eating a light snack 30 minutes before you workout and don't forget to refuel after class, you've earned it!

WHAT TO WEAR We suggest you wear comfortable workout clothes that enable you to move freely. Workout tights or shorts and a T-shirt/singlet is a good idea. Good comfortable workout shoes are also important for support and stability. Cycle shoes are supplied free of charge for cycle classes.

TOWELS PROVIDED A fresh workout towel will be waiting for you in the studio. You’ll also find big fluffy shower towels in the changing rooms, and biodegradable ones for your hair.

SHOWER + BODY Our changing rooms are stocked with natural skin and hair products. Plus straighteners and dryers, of course.

ON THE MAT Enjoy our complimentary Lulu Lemon YOGA mats chosen for their extra cushion for hips, knees, and floor poses or bring your own if you prefer.  



ARRIVE EARLY Nothing’s worse than a last minute set-up! We recommend you arrive 10 minutes before your class. Be sure to let the front desk know you’re a newbie and we’ll get you set up in the class of your choice. (and outfitted with cycling shoes.)

If you signed up online, your name will be listed on our check in ipads. Simply find your name and click on it to check in so that we know you’re here. Note: If you’re not signed in 4 minutes before your class, your class spot may be released.

New member waiver. You will need to sign our new participant waiver and review the class safety Instructions when you arrive at the studio.


Coming to cycle?

Shoes In our cycle classes, everyone uses cleated shoes. They strengthen the connection between leg and bike, engaging hamstrings and glutes for toned, lean legs. They also let you push up from the saddle more safely—to work core muscles, raise your heart rate and burn those calories. You can use our shoes free of charge (cleaned after every use!) or, if you really want to nail the pro look, bring your own.

Water You’ll definitely want some water in the class. You can fill your sports bottle just outside the studios, or buy bottled water from reception.

Towels A fresh workout towel will be waiting for you in the studio. You’ll also find big fluffy shower towels in the changing rooms.



Your stuff is safe with us! Our daily lockers have coded keypads, so no need to bring your own lock. If you’re not familiar with the system, ask one of our friendly staff or read the directions inside the locker. They’re easy!


Bike Set-Up

Our bikes are state of the art and  they’re simple to set up! In case you’ve never done it before, there are 3 places where you can adjust your bike:

1) Seat height - about hip height when you are standing next to your bike.
2) Seat position - place your elbow on the front of your seat and your fingertips should just reach the handlebars, adjust to fit.
3) Handlebar Height  - slightly below your seat height unless you have lower back concerns then make it a little higher than your seat for comfort.

If you’re new to cycling, arrive early and ask the front desk to help you get setup correctly.



Like any new fitness routine, you may want to chat with your doctor before your first class. Also, if you’re new to District or to a particular instructor, please let us know – we are happy to answer any questions. Our instructors are motivational leaders who will inspire you to push yourself, but please listen to your body and work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Stay hydrated, and refill your water bottle on your way out! If you experience any unusual or persistent symptoms after your class, please don’t hesitate to seek medical attention.


District 101


learn the ropes

These 30 minute classes are an interactive workshop, designed to help you achieve a clear understanding of the district training methods in our cycle and HIIT studios. With opportunities to ask the instructor questions and get comfortable.

In the Cycle 101 class we focus on finding your perfect bike set-up, clipping in and out, practicing proper form and using resistance to help you ride to the beat in a safe and efficient way.

In the HIIT 101 class we demonstrate, practise and give you individualised feedback on key movement patterns and correct use of the HIIT equipment.

District 101 is ideal for members who have not taken cycle or HIIT classes before and for anyone wanting more personalised instruction on our exercise fundamentals.
